NSW SAFE WORK MONTH | SAFETY CHALLENGE

our NSW project teams were set a challenge to step up their safety innovation and enhance their already strong safety culture. The response from every project team was outstanding, every team responded and rose to the challenge – well done to all teams in our October Safety Month Challenge. 

It is with great pleasure to announce that the winner and bragging rights goes to…. the MLC project team!!

This was an extremely tight contest, with almost an even split three ways, finally, we were left with a tie break, as such we had to bring in a special guest judge to break it! 

The MLC team has used the month to focus attention on the high-risk activities with their unique live environment, the planning and work undertaken within the oculus area are very impressive, along with signage, asbestos management, emergency boards and physical site protections.

Ed Park introduced "the Ed Park 8", a set of golden rules that I am sure will make their way to Probuild sites nationally, Whilst the Greenland team commenced an acknowledgement campaign recognising the safest subcontractor of the month. 

All teams worked hard and should be extremely proud of their efforts!
