Perinatal Workplace Wellbeing Program

WorkWell is a Mental Health Improvement Fund, funded by WorkSafe Victoria.

The Center Of Perinatal Excellence (Cope), under the WorkWell scheme, are developing a pilot program specifically designed to support and make a difference to the mental health and wellbeing of expectant and new parents and those hoping to become parents in the construction industry.

This pilot program aims to identify and understanding trends and challenges associated with starting a family, specific to the construction industry.

Statistics also show that those transition back to work with newborns are 35% more likely to have a near miss at work and 26% more likely to have a near miss on the road due to fatigue. The program will help develop a framework for the industry to assist new parents with this transition.

Probuild is excited to announce that we are working with COPE in the development of this program.

The program commenced in October 2018, and will be conducted for the next two years. We look forward to sharing the results with you.
